During the 2009 Session of the General Assembly, many people and groups from the 59th District, including a group from the Southside Virginia Community College, visit with Delegate Abbitt. Delegate Abbitt is proud to have such outstanding citizen leaders in his district that come to his Richmond Office to express opinions and thanks.
During his tenure as Delegate, Watkins has not only introduced new ideas and concepts to make the Commonwealth and Central Virginia a better place to live, but he has also recognized leaders throughout the District. Recently, Watkins introduced a Resolution commemerating Thomas Mayfield, a devoted edcuator of the Prince Edward Community.
